Assistant Varsity Coach
After a one-year absence I am pleased to have the opportunity to return for my 3rd season as an assistant coach for the girls basketball program. My prior basketball coaching experience includes 6 seasons as the freshman boys coach at Papio South, 1 season as a varsity assistant for the boys team at Platteview High School, and 2 seasons as a varsity assistant for the girls team at Centura High School. I recently completed my 9th season an assistant for the boys XC team, and was a coach on the 2017 State Championship team. I have also been the head coach of the girls track team for the past 8 years, and was a part of the 2019 State Runner-Up team.
I am currently a stay-at-home father for my one-year old son, Jake, but spent the previous 12 years as a freshman biology teacher at Papio South. My wife, Kristen, is the head of a research lab at Boys Town National Research Hospital, and our family has enjoyed our recent move to Papillion.

I graduated from Papillion Lavista South High School and graduated in 2017. I played on the Girls varsity basketball team for all 4 years. I attended Northeast Community college for one year and played basketball there. I currently work at Papillion Montessori Preschool as an assistant teacher and am working to get my teaching degree through UNO. This will be my first year coaching girls basketball at this level. I am coaching 7th grade girls as well through the Jr. Titans program.
